What to expect from placement

Hey guys, I hope everyone is doing well!

Basically I’m about to start my first year studying mental health nursing at the University of Surrey. Im obviously very excited and was just wondering if anyone would be able to give specific examples of the kind of tasks they were asked todo while on placement (both in community and hospital settings).
Like checking vitals, care plans, talking to patients etc…

I’m just trying to read ahead a bit over the summer as I don’t have any healthcare experience, so want to make sure I don’t fall behind haha.
