For those who blipped: What was happening when you blipped and how'd it feel?

I've always been curious about this. I didn't get blipped but at a cafe I was on my Macbook, and suddenly half the people dusted away and I wonder how it felt for them when they returned, Were they in the same spot? Or were they somewhere else
