Do you think it's cheating to look up a strategy?

I always try to beat levels by myself. I'm currently on ch3 tumore and the only time I looked up a guide was for 3 star chapter 5 normal. I personally felt cheap doing it but I also learned about units I never would have used otherwise so in a way I think it made me better.
