How common is it for Americans to have left the Continent for a vacation during their childhood?

I am sure this varies by economic class, and also if the person is an American of migrant background visiting their home country, so anecdotes based on your circle's socioeconomic status are also welcome.

How common is it for Americans to have, before the age of 18, gone on a vacation abroad but not to Canada/Mexico etc, rather to Europe or East Asia or Australia ...?
