Hey folks,

I've been working on a free mod called Mutant Powers and wanted to share it here.

The idea: some pawns are born different. A small percentage of humans carry the X-gene and manifest a superpower in the form of passive bonuses plus active abilities you use right from the gizmo bar, just like vanilla psycasts.

What's in it

\- 30+ powers, from classic X-Men (pyrokinesis, cryokinesis, super speed, super strength, regeneration, telepathy, invisibility, electrokinesis, steel skin, healing touch, telekinesis...) to a bunch of other comic-inspired ones: flight, optic blast, weather control, spider powers, bone claws, magnetism, intangibility, teleportation, toxin, plant control, animal empathy, time stop, sonic scream, kryptonian physiology, gravity control, fear projection, empathy, hydrokinesis, super senses, probability manipulation, geokinesis...

\- Vanilla RimWorld 1.6, no DLC required. Only dependency is Harmony.

\- Mutants can show up naturally: starting colonists, raiders, visitors, refugees — all have a configurable chance to be born mutants.

\- A cheap X-gene tonic craftable early at the crafting spot (just herbal medicine, no research) for a tribal-friendly start.

\- Later on, research Mutagenesis to craft a proper Mutagen serum at the drug lab (grants a random power) and a Suppressor serum (removes powers). Mutagen also shows up from exotic traders and quest rewards.

\- Full control in the mod settings: spawn chance for player pawns vs everyone else, max powers per pawn, letters on/off.

\- On the starting pawn screen you can pick: no gene, latent gene only, random power, or hand-pick every power for each colonist.

\- Dev mode tools to grant/remove powers or mutate your whole colony for testing.

I'm actively developing it, would you be interested in giving this a shot?
