I have an idea for a Star Wars movie (long post)

PLOT
So, it’s set in the Imperial era. The plot revolves around a pirate captain betrayed by his third-in-command—a scorpion-man who incited a mutiny. The only one to stand against him was the captain's first mate, a reprogrammed commando droid. They were cast adrift in a shuttle heading toward a star but managed to survive. Two individuals discovered this: the mutineer and an Imperial officer—who happens to be a decent person. Now, both are trying to capture the protagonists because they know the location of the pirates' hideout; the scorpion wants to kill them before they can talk, while the officer wants to capture them to find the hideout—all while our poor protagonists are trying to rebuild a criminal empire.

Charachters (I have trouble coming up with names for the characters, so I'll just state their jobs)
The pirate captain: He is quite theatrical and dramatic, often failing to show respect—a behavior used to mask the fact that he was the weakest member of the crew and only became captain through deceit and trickery; indeed, this is what caused his crew to mutiny, though he eventually undergoes an arc where he learns to show respect.
The commando droid: He speaks with a pirate accent and is loyal to the captain because the latter freed him from a life in the droid army.
The Imperial villain: His goal is simple—to protect his people from the pirates.
And the scorpion-man: After years of being treated poorly by his captain, he has decided to take revenge
