How do communicate better please 26f 35f

Relationship advice please!
My girlfriend and I have been together 5 years. I’m autistic and clutter genuinely overwhelms me. I like a clean, organised, fairly minimalist home. She has lots of stuff and a very different approach to cleaning.
I clean methodically, section by section. She seems to do a bit of everything, so to me it never feels properly finished. She often says, “I love it when you clean, it’s so spotless,” which makes me wonder if my standards are simply higher.
I was up at 5:30am cleaning this morning because I wanted the house how I like it. 😩
The house was mine and my daughters’ for 10 years before she moved in, so I’m aware I need to adjust too. She’s also been in a bad relationship before and can be sensitive to criticism, while I can be unintentionally blunt.
I absolutely adore this woman and don’t want cleaning to become a source of resentment.
Do I need to accept that my standards are higher and do more myself, or how can we meet in the middle without her feeling criticised?
I’d really appreciate advice from couples who’ve dealt with different standards of cleanliness/clutter! ❤️
TL;DR?
