Why does this subreddit have fewer posts than other subreddits?

When comparing to other subreddits for disabled people like r/deaf or r/blind. This subreddit doesn’t have as much posts as them. Like, whenever I search something up on this subreddit that I thought would’ve be more common. I keep on seeing the same posts and comments. Some of which were made by me. Plus, a lot of posts I’ve seen are made by speaking people who are looking for advice on writing a mute character.

Could it be that muteness isn’t as common as being blind or deaf? Or that mute communities aren’t as strong as other disabled communities?
