Salzburg → Villach → Ljubljana by train around Dec 29 — how frequent are trains, since schedules for late Dec aren’t published yet?

Hi all, planning a late-December trip. Booking sites don’t show the late-Dec schedule yet (new timetable period), so asking people who’ve done these routes:
1. Salzburg → Ljubljana (via Villach) around Dec 29 — how frequent are the trains, and are there direct ones during holiday week?
2. Ljubljana → Český Krumlov → Prague — what’s the best way back north? How frequent are connections, and is this doable in a day?
