if you are looking for people at UCI to build engineering/cs projects with.

Hi, I’m an incoming EE transfer. I’ve seen quite a few posts and comments here about wanting more hands on experience outside of classes. But for me at least, it was both quite daunting to get started and also hard to find people to team up with, which I think helps quite a lot with motivation and commitment.

So I was thinking of making a tool for people to match with potential teammates based on things like interests, skills, experience level, and time commitment. But before I make the full app, I wanna see if something like that would actually help.

So for those who are interested, you can put in your interests and skills at https://komekz.github.io/uci-project-match/. You don’t need a project idea, but feel free to include it if you have one.

Once there are enough responses to generate matches, you will receive an email with the potential matches and why you’d work well together. Then you can either accept or decline the match, and your email won’t be shared unless you accept.

Thanks!
