Companies that show a product that looks nothing like the product they actually sell
Now this has been around for as long as I can remember, but there are always commercials that show like a beautiful burger and you get it IRL and its just a sad and soggy pile of meh. I get that is not going to look IDENTICAL but the difference is often astounding.
I think taco bell got in trouble for something like this recently, but companies have been getting away with it for decades with no backlash until now.
This also happens a lot nowadays with buying clothing online, you think you found a cute top or something and you get it and it's nothing like the product.
Final example: my girlfriend recently moved into a new apartment after touring for some time, and the showroom they had was pristine and showed a luxurious living space, only for her apartment to have several issues with loose outlets and broken cabinets.
The fact that this is just "a part of life" is baffling to me, and we consumers deserve to be treated better, or at the very least not duped!
