Translate this to regular speak please?

There is a lightning build for knight and in the notes it says this:

“Cursed Immortality Sword:
Get a Divinity Skill, and Sand Barrier Specially Modified.
Revive and remove the 2 regenerating Soul Hearts 15 times or less depending on the amount of hearts you have.
Finally, equip the sword when you are at max Health.”

I do not understand how this effect will gain me more hearts in the long run. It says to remove the hearts and allow them to regenerate, but that won’t yield MORE overall hearts… am I crazy?
