Low dose for mid+ acne

I am 65 kg and was dealing with a lot of immune related side effects on 20 mg a day, so my derm lowered my dose to 10 mg daily. Started because mid-high acne with some cystic acne.

Month 1: 10 mg (used benzoyl 5% every other day in the start)
Month 2: 20 mg
Month 3: 20 mg (side effects started really affecting my day-to-day)

Note: She suggested using benzoyl peroxide at night every other day, as long as my skin can handle it and does not get too irritated.

For anyone who finished their course, did 10 mg work for you? Did your acne come back?

I keep overthinking that 10 mg will clear it up, but once I get off the medication, it will just come right back because the dose was so low.
