I’ve been building a SaaS product with my team, and one thing has been bothering me lately.

AI coding tools have made building software ridiculously fast.

You can now go from an idea → prototype → feature → deployment much faster than before.

But there’s a weird problem that comes after that:

**You actually have to tell people that you built it.**

Developers usually want to keep building. After finishing a coding session, the last thing they want to do is sit down and think:

>

And even if you do want to market your product, it's surprisingly difficult to consistently turn all those small development wins into meaningful content.

A feature shipped.
A bug fixed.
A performance improvement.
A new integration.
A major refactor.

All of these are potentially interesting stories, but they're scattered across development sessions.

We’ve been experimenting with something called **Project Pulse** inside our product, XandaCross.

The original purpose wasn't marketing.

It connects development activity with the project's knowledge/context and keeps track of what is actually happening during development.

After using it extensively ourselves for the last couple of months, we noticed something unexpected:

**The development history itself can become a source of marketing content.**

So Project Pulse can identify meaningful moments from development activity and turn them into potential posts for platforms like LinkedIn.

The idea isn't:

**“AI, write me a random marketing post.”**

It's more:

**“Here’s what I actually built. Help me communicate it.”**

We're still experimenting with this, but I find the shift interesting.

As AI makes building easier, I'm wondering if **distribution/marketing becomes the bigger bottleneck for developers and small SaaS teams.**

Curious what other builders think:

**Is marketing currently a bigger pain point for you than actually building the product?**

AI made building software easier. So why does marketing still feel so hard?
