Have to let our Elevate go. It was good while it lasted (until it wasn't).

So we got our Honda Elevate Signature Black Edition last year in February. Absolutely fun to drive, immaculate comfort, really great looks, sensible features, the car has it all. Except, the most crucial thing for us - fuel economy.

We've clocked more than 50,000 KMs till now and spent more than 5 lacs on fuel alone. And ever since Gadkari blended the godforsaken ethanol, we've been noticing significant drops in the average. This doesn't seem to be working in the long run and we are deciding to swap with a Diesel automatic car (EVs were under consideration but given we're from a hilly region and the lack of public chargers in our area, the idea's scrapped).

We are currently looking at Tata Nexon Diesel AMT as it seems to be making sense economically (albeit, it's sort of a tier below).
