(Picture is not from today, I just love her and want whats best for her)
Hi Everyone!

i have a 6 year old cinnamon ball python that i rescued with my partner last year from an animal hoarding situation.

she's been so sweet, cuddly and has had no problems with being around people/socializing unless she's hungry (understandable)

however, today she's been defensive and hissing at both of us.

little bit of a timeline:

she ate on august 22nd

i handled her between 30-60 mins on the 25th

i then handled her again for 60-90 mins on the 26th

today (august 27th), theres been a complete 180, and she's hissed at us and tried to strike my partner when he tried to take her house off of her (she was burrowing and looked a little stuck/wasnt moving)

she's hissed at us once before, and it was because when we first were feeding her after bringing her home my partner stuck his hand in the tank and she panicked (honestly, rightfully so and we've learned)

we're both not entirely sure what's happened. she was fine yesterday, didn't show any signs of anything. she saw her vet in february of this year and the vet said she looks good.

i'm looking for advice or to see if anyone has dealt with the same thing. its so out of character for her and we're worried about her.
