alienware area51m r2 constant red power button and back stadium light.

my laptop's alienhead power button and back stadium light only light in red (stadium light lights red and a gradient of the color i chose). it doesn't matter whether its plugged in or not it won't change colors. is this a power problem or is it something else? need an answer asap!!!
