I really wish there was a **toggle between Summon and Transform** for Echo Skills.

The biggest issue I have with transformation-type Echoes is that, on hypercarries, using them can actually feel like a DPS loss rather than a meaningful part of the rotation.

Take **Qingxiao + Calamity Effigy** as an example. Transforming takes you away from Qingxiao for almost **3 seconds**, during which you could simply be dealing damage with the character instead. Moving the Echo to the second slot isn't necessarily a good solution either, since you're then giving up important Aero buffs.

**Mornye** is another good example. Reactor Husk is recommended to be used right before her Outro Skill, but once again, you're interrupting the character's gameplay and rotation just to perform an Echo transformation.

And the list goes on. I genuinely feel sorry for DPS Resonators that have to equip and actively use Echoes like **Inferno Rider, Crownless, Tempest Mephis, Feilian Beringal, Lampylumen Myriad, Mourning Aix**, etc.

This is why I'd love to see an option such as:

Toggle:

**Transform:** Works exactly as it does now.
**Summon:** The Echo performs its attack independently while you remain in control of your Resonator.

There could obviously be balancing differences between the two modes if necessary, but having the choice would make Echoes feel significantly better to integrate into rotations.

Right now, I also see very little defensive benefit to transforming. You're not necessarily protected from incoming damage, and in some situations the transformation can actually put you in a worse position by locking you into an animation or disrupting your movement/rotation.

For me, the core problem is that **Echo Skills should complement a Resonator's gameplay rather than temporarily replace it.**

I'm curious what others think: **Would you prefer having a Summon/Transform toggle, or do you think transformation Echoes offer enough advantages in their current form?**

Transform Echoes really suck especially on DPS, and generally on any resonator
