I jumped a red light

I was following the traffic and didn't even notice that I had jumped the light by mistake and even though there were other cars behind me, the police wala singled me out and took a photograph of my number plate as well as the license I showed him on digilocker, should I be worried? As long as it's a chalaan I am okay to pay for my offense but can he cancel my license or smthn? Is there a strike system on licenses? He said something like "Ab love letter aayega tumhaare ghar pe"
