Advice for a Future teacher from South Africa in Canada

Good day everyone. I'm in the works of immigrating to British Columbia from South Africa. I'm a bit nervous about moving and not finding any work. And not sure where to look. Any advice would be welcome. From Canadians or South African immigrants. I'm strongly considering moving to a small town.
