Upgrading from the EOS 800D

Hi gang

So since 2022, I’ve had the EOS 800D and it has served me beautifully, I love the way the photos come out, have learned from it, and for an entry level camera it has certainly done its job of giving me a warm welcome into the world of photography.

However, I have began taking photography more seriously, and with that I feel like I should upgrade. My main issues with the EOS 800D was the low fps and how bad it did in low light environments.

With that in mind, one of the cameras I have seen pop up during my research more than once was the R8, I am especially keen on this camera due to its array of features (and having a full frame will be lovely), but I wanted to get the opinions of those who live and die by this stuff, could you part your knowledge on a novice like me?
