How do you resign?

Hi all, tired second-year ELA teacher here. Was hoping year two would be better, but they gave me a new section to teach. Feel like a first-year teacher again. I’m mentally exhausted. I don’t know if I can stay the year to fully clear my credential. I don’t know if I have the capacity to. I’m really tired of this job. Might be a stupid question, but how do you resign? I teach in CA. Not sure if that changes anything.

Also, what jobs have yall transitioned to? I have a BA in psych, BA in educ, and a MA in teaching. Not sure what I can transition to when all of my work experience has been in the educ field. Feeling extremely lost.
