[NO SPOILERS] I believe the yosuke stuff is blown way outta proportion. Maybe ill get shit for saying this but truly it is.

What the producer said was stupid he could have just said no it’s not in the game because it’s not in the originals and not make up a bad excuse about having to give the other male characters like kanji a romance option too, so I understand the backlash that they’re getting regarding what he said. What I don’t get is the people saying they’re “removing” or “ruining” his character development and writing when that romance option never existed.

If what makes his character writing so good is something that never existed in the game to begin with then what did some of those people like about him in the first place. I’d have loved for it to be in the game and it sucks that it’s not and I also get being disappointed but truly is it grounds to say they ruined Yosuke’s character or that they’re ruining revival somehow (yes I seen this being said). If they removed a part of his actual social link that WAS in the original game then yea I’d understand and agree with a lot of the stuff I’ve seen but that’s just not the case so far and his character is still gonna be just as good as it was before assuming nothing from the original social link is switched.
