Making "Circus Animal Cracker" minis, advice/help needed!
So, I'm running a D&D campaign that is a food-based world. One encounter I'm planning is some bears, painted and crafted to look like "Mother's Circus Animal" cookies. I already have some bear STLs and some glitter beads that look exactly like the sprinkles.
What I'm planning on doing is painting the bears like the cracker, then using some Milliput as the "frosting", then sticking some beads on top of that before the Milliput dries. I have two questions regarding that, though:
-
Will the beads still stick to the Milliput after it dries? When I've used Milliput in the past, it dries very hard, so I worry the beads may fall off.
-
Can I paint the Milliput before it dries? I'd like to have both white and pink "frosting" (the Milliput is white), but can I paint the Milliput pink, then apply the sprinkles?
Any thoughts, either as answers to my questions or additional ideas, are welcome! Thanks!
