Losing my latest hyperfixation

😤 rant / vent - advice allowed

TL;DR: I'm losing my latest hyperfixation and I was using it as an emotional crutch. How do I cope?

Full version: Since the last episode of TADC came out on June 28th, I've been hyperfixated on creating fan content of it via a self-insert OC, Clubs. Before this, I hadn't drawn regularly or been this excited over a piece of media in over 7 years.

I've used Clubs to explore various problems with my mental health like depression, overstimulation, fear of rejection and failure, and sensory issues. It's been so important to me and it's allowed me to explore parts of my mental health that I hadn't addressed in many years.

I want to explore so much more with her. I want to make little 4 panel comics

Today it's been 2 months, and I can feel that drive slipping away. That joy I got every time I made a drawing or a story isn't as strong anymore, and new ideas are less and less common. I feel like Clubs has become a part of me, and now I'm losing her. She was how I was coping with my stagnant, struggle-filled life. I don't want her to leave me. I'm not ready to let her go. I love her.

It makes me cry, and it feels so silly. Why would I cry over a fictional character I created that few other people are even interested in?

How do I cope? How do I move on?
