If you had a high risk pregnancy and delivery with your first, when did you feel ready for second?

My first just turned one. I had parietal previa that resolved, but I have multiple fibroids and that caused baby to be transverse. I had a c-section that had complications and ended with multiple incisions on my uterus. I’ve recovered well but still want a thorough look over before I really think about baby 2.

I want more kids. Especially now that baby is sleeping well and I’m done breastfeeding. But mentally I don’t know how to do that again. The uncertainty of everything, I want to cry just remembering how those appointments felt.

If you had complications, when and how did you feel ready to do it again?
