Age gap with colleague

I (23F) love talking with my older colleague and I find it easier to build relationship with them than with my younger colleague. But sometimes, I feel like it can be seen as awkward for my older male colleague (40+) to act like friends with me because I am a young woman.

How do you guys feel about working with people with a big age gap?
