Extraction missions

Hello, while playing extraction missions I've noticed if someone goes down it seems to be no way to heal anyone,so if you need to escape with say 4 people and 2 die the game just goes on until you manually restart the mission or everyone dies then it will give the option to restart. If everyone is supposed to survive and one dies how can I heal them to finish the mission? It seems kind of odd to me.
