Partner outside Canada – IRCC requested RCMP criminal record check within 14 days

AOR Jan 13, no updates since medical in March, and finally some progress!

IRCC just requested an RCMP certified criminal record check for my partner, who is currently outside Canada due to some urgent matters and can’t return soon.

I found that the RCMP check can be done remotely, but getting fingerprints done in his country and having them sent to a certified agency in Canada would take more than a month, while I only have 14 days to submit.

Has anyone been in a similar situation?
