Finally got the shoes off the floor

I live in an apartment with a pretty narrow entryway, so for the longest time I just kept my shoes lined up by the door.

It wasn't terrible, but somehow even four or five pairs made the whole area look cluttered. And of course they never actually stayed lined up for very long.

I kept thinking about getting a shoe cabinet, but most of the ones I found were either too deep or way bigger than I needed for one person.

I looked at IKEA, VASAGLE, GARVEE, and probably way too many random ones online. I measured that spot way too many times before I found one that would fit.

And honestly, the best part isn't even the storage. It's just walking in and not immediately seeing a pile of shoes by the door.
