Why is there so much unnecessary hate toward furries and other fandoms?

I genuinely don’t understand why people put so much effort into hating on furries and people who enjoy different fandoms. You don’t have to like furry art, cosplay, anime, gaming, or whatever else someone is into. That’s completely fine. But there’s a pretty big difference between “this isn’t my thing” and actively harassing or insulting people over it. At the end of the day, most people are just enjoying a hobby and trying to have fun. If you don’t like it, scroll past. You lose absolutely nothing by letting people enjoy harmless interests. Criticism is one thing. Bullying someone just because they're different is another. Can we just let people enjoy their hobbies without turning everything into a hate campaign? If
