Discontinued and hired again success stories: please share

Hey everyone. I got denied tenure in my fourth year. Unions all over it but thats not the point.

I was told that my superintendent would remove the discontinuation of I got another job. And I did! But because they put the paperwork in already my eis is blocked (for now). Letter stated services ended august 26. Principal said hes waiting for it to process before he can enter me into the TO.

New principal knows the ordeal and so does his district hr. Actually back in july when he agreed to hire me, he sent a massive email out to the staff and shared my name that I would he joining the team.

My anxiety has been going nuts lately. Im also accepting the reality I probably wont be starting the year. I have a nest egg for that.

Can anyone share their successful rehire journey, if applicable? I need a pick me up while I play the waiting game.
