Apparently not allowed to eat at my brothers wedding reception

I’m 20 years old and living with my parents over the summer before going to college. My mom has done worse things than this but it’s ruined my night.

Apparently I’d be wasting money to get a meal at my brothers wedding reception while everyone else was getting multiple sides, desserts, and meals… but my mom said I’d be wasting money to get something eat and said she’d get me something on my way home… apparently too busy to get me food now and there’s no food I can eat at home easily so I now need to pay for my own food and then hide it because I’m not supposed to eat anything she doesn’t approve of or she yells at me but… hiding food here I come ig. And the place we were at was a go up to counter and get something type of situation. I was already having an awful night due to work and chronic health issues but this just topped the cake or lack there of bc I’m not allowed to eat anything
