19M, I'm neurodivergent and aroace, looking to share roughly similar interests.

Hello! I want to find a friend to share hobbies with, a similar level of curiosity, and hopefully share similar neurology or interests so we can understand each other's brains. I do have diagnosed ADHD, I suspect autism, and I have diagnosed OCD, or I like to call it "AuDHoCD."

My main interests I love are computer architecture (computers in general as well), physics, mathematics, and basic mechanical engineering in robotics applied to 3D modeling. I'm certainly not an absolute master at these topics, but I know a fair amount about each one. I do love learning and have a drive for curiosity. I'd honestly love it if you happened to know more than me in one of these areas. I've been finding emerging interest in taxonomy and potentially paleontology.

I really enjoy conceptual learning and find joy in most concepts or subjects that involve a degree of systemization and categorization, so for subjects I'm unfamiliar with, I can systemize them into a form I'd find interesting, so it's like manufacturing interest than faking it.

In messages, I prefer to be detailed if I have the energy, often yielding long messages, and I normally do investigation and search beforehand for what a person is talking about if it's their interest. I also have experienced a skill regression because of autistic burnout, but I intend on regaining previous lost knowledge.

I prefer long, detailed messages, because I can create them at my own pace, I can address everything I want to and ask questions, and I have time to actually research things you talk about or mention (like your interests), especially for any topics I do not know much of.

I don't play many games, but a lot of them are indie games and really obscure ones, some of which are more technical.

I'm mainly hoping to find someone to communicate with and share interests that involve some form of categorization and systems of ideas so that I can engage with it. My time zone is MT (Mountain Time), UTC-6, and I live in Canada, but I hope your time zone isn't absurdly off from mine. I'm also open to a more relaxed chat pace, whatever works best. I am also somewhat reserved, but chatting becomes more natural once I grow more comfortable, of course.

If you managed to read much of this post and seem interested, send a message about yourself, like your interests, please! I may not respond to very short or rudimentary replies, often because they're fairly unexciting to engage with.
