Antidepressant discontinuation syndrome vs. amnesia caused by epilepsy

My parents, who strongly believes that I have conversion disorder, did not let me mention the fact that I was experiencing serious memory loss. They said, "just wait to see the psych and you will feel better in no time". I also told them that I had had some serious seizures and loss of bowels going on, which she did not believe this and classified it as functional seizures. I told them many times that "PNES and epilepsy can co-exist!" but this didn't go through their heads. My question is, do you guys have experience with antidepressant discontinuation syndrome? My parents believe this is the cause to my memory loss, and I'm giving it a shot to heed into their opinions.
