Array has officially passed 300 players! Thank you all very much for the continued support on my game and for everyone who takes the time to write me feedback! It goes a long way, and I am super happy to see people enjoying their time with the game.

For 0.3.5 I really wanted to focus on refining many of the new systems that have been introduced in the 0.3.0 series of updates. I also used this as an opportunity to add some QoL features for some aspects of the game and cleaned up UIs for other things. Let’s get right into this update!

# Performance Enhancements

While playing Array players may notice significantly better FPS and less stuttering while in the game. This is due to many small changes across the game and a partial renderer rewrite. Median frames improved by 22% across this release's fixes and the multi-second freezes are gone entirely.

# Searching Saves

A new QoL feature coming in this update is the ability to search saves within the saves menu for players who might have many saves in their saves list!

# Faction AI Refinement and Bug Fixing

The Faction AI were taking a lot of shortcuts when it came to gameplay. Rather than playing the game 1:1 like the player there were instances where the AI player could \*cheat\* and progress significantly faster than the player. This has been resolved largely by some logic checks that needed to be refined.

The AI were also having issues finding resources it was in need of and making trades that seemed almost random. Now trades feel much more focused.

# Senate Button Move

The player can now access the senate from the bottom bar rather than the UI Panel and the button on the UI panel has been removed.

# Mac and Linux Builds

I finally am building Mac and Linux versions of Array. The builds will be coming out and showing up on the Array page in the coming days. The windows release is first. For future releases they will all release side-by-side.

# Bug Fixes

* Opening the saves menu after leaving a save game crashed the game on some devices. This has been resolved.
* Certain in-game actions like loading a game from the pause-menu would cause the native file dialog to crash the game. This has been resolved.
* Buying custom ships in the market then going to war would cause an error. This has been resolved.
* Captured colonies would lose their train lines. This has been resolved.
* False alerts cluttered the event log when entering the galaxy view. This has been resolved.
* Auto-save no longer causes stuttering on larger saves, the write now happens off the main thread.
* Sometimes rival ships would show up as friendly ships. This has been resolved.
* In some cases, AI would store habitants in non-existent habitats. This has been resolved.

There are a ton of smaller fixes and enhancements that happened across the game, everything feels snappier, cleaner, and up to the quality I like it to be at.
