**I'm a PSA virgin and could use some advice.** And I've never posted in this forum.

I collected the '86 and 87 Fleer sets when they came out and have been moving them around for 40 years, along with other cards from that era and earlier. I need to grade and vault a few of them.

I also started a vault at PWCC a few yeas back (now Fanatics Collect) and have cards I've purchased in the last six years in it.

I know I need to get grades on the 1980 Bird/Erving/Magic card, 1986 Jordans (2 cards, 1 sticker), 87 Jordans (2 cards, 1 sticker) and some other stuff that's mostly sentimental (Doc Gooden signature, Yogi Berra, Barkley, etc.), but it's obviously a big investment and a bit opaque on PSA's website.

**My questions:**

**1. I have a complete 1986 set with cards and stickers. Does it matter if I "break"** the set and get the Jordans, Barkley, and Ewings graded as part of the set, or leave them and only do duplicates? Same on '87.

**2. When you create an order for PSA Classic,** is there any experience with either not selecting enough value or selecting too much? Do they correct your pricing up **AND** down when they grade? That's the part that's tripping me up the most.

The way I understand it, if you go for max value / insurance thinking it's a PSA 9, then get a PSA 7, you could theoretically overpay by $1,500 with no recourse. Is that accurate?

**3. I'm planning to have them come back and vault them** with Fanatics Collect. Any input on which vaults are best these days?
