Vehicle to grid batteries (and home to grid) should be commonplace and people should share their battery capacity
Making our EVs contribute to the power grid when plugged in can become the biggest virtual power plant in any country and the benefits are huge .
Cheaper predictable electricity doesn't just make your bills lower, it stimulates the economy (industries and business can produce more/cheaper etc...) and there are so many enormous advantages of cheap/plentiful energy.
"But but my car battery will suffer due to the extra cycles!"
It won't lose much, and you can limit how much is used/shared, even 5% could make it useful in aggregate. So suck it up and don't be selfish.
Do you really _not_ want to share your car's/home battery capacity? Then vote _out_ of government politicians who invest on oil and gas.
