Question about AI use for modding

Question

What is the rationale against a mod created with AI, given that it is not slop quality and is not a one-shot prompt (as in having extensive iteration and playtesting, but for someone not having the programming knowledge or time)? When bugs can be identified and fixed the same day a report is made, why is this a bad thing?

If someone had the vision for something they wanted to create, the technical knowledge to understand/diagnose performance and cybersecurity issues, but not the programming knowledge or time to address them, what is wrong with using AI?

How do copyright laws govern when someone wants to see a change in a mod, but its creator refuses or doesn't have the time to fulfil that single user's request, and that user ends up modifying it by themselves using AI? If that AI-modified build is distributed, with the original creator credited and AI alterations acknowledged, what reasoning is there against this action?

Please give genuine responses. Moral, legal, or statistical - whatever your reasoning, as long as it isn't just straight insulting.
