I have nothing to add about Taxi Driver but...

...I love seeing everyone post recently about what has been (maybe) my favorite movie for the past 25 years.

I was about 15 when I first saw Taxi Driver and it sounds cliche but it changed me. That summer along with VHS rentals of Reservoir Dogs, Lost Highway and Goodfellas I was irreparably changed. I am almost 40 now and the Lynch series coupled with his death was emotional to say the least.

More so than the film itself, Taxi Driver made me look at movies in a different way. The camera can't bear witness Travis' painful phone call.

I am so fucking jealous of those of you who are having your first watches.

Also, if anyone is interested, I have a piece of Errol Flynn's bathtub for sale. Serious inquiries only.
