How often do games succeed? what should i expect? and how much wishlists do i need?
This sounds like a great topic.
So chris zukowski when he speaks about game marketing, he does say about what is your goal, how much wishlist is about a number of succession, but the thing is, i'm making a friendslop game, 7k wishlists doesnt seem to be a good goal, like successful friendslop games i've seen seemed to have more.
or maybe i'm understanding wrong? well if thats the case how much profit is considered "successful", 10k? 30k? 100k? or more? (in terms of dollars)
So obviously chris zukowski saying 7k wishlists is the goal isnt wrong, my doubt is whether he meant by general genres excluding things like coop games.
Right now what should my goal be? for a friendslop physics based game?
