realizing i’m basically just a sex toy to my fiance
i (23 f) have been w my fiance (24 m) for 3 years now, very recently engaged
we have always had different ways of handling things, for 3 years i’ve constantly begged him after fights to stop sleeping in the other room and going to bed angry. we live together and sometimes he won’t talk to me for days at a time over what most couples would consider a small pointless bicker. he gives me the cold shoulder, knowing that gives me anxiety, still. after 3 years of begging this to stop. during conversations we have to fix things, i am basically the only one talking. he says “i don’t know” and shrugs me off. basically until i shut up and move on.
he only enjoys me when im in a good mood. once i have my own thoughts, opinions, or feelings, he’s never there. he wants some “yes sir” ass woman that agrees with whatever he says and offers no push back to anything. he loves being here for the intimate parts and the good days, but when i’m struggling, i find myself all alone… this has been a reoccurring thing for me. men are attracted to me physically, then once they realize im a bold person with intense emotions, they just discard me as if i was never there…. as if this was more than they signed up for.
sometimes i question why i even wanted to be engaged to this man. i often question if this will just end in divorce anyway. im so tired of this. (yes hes sleeping in the living room as i type this. yay.)
