Baby measuring not aligned with weeks

For starters this is my first pregnancy. I went in for my first ultrasound. By my last period I should have been exactly 8 weeks. The measurements they saw showed I was a little over 6 weeks. I was measuring 3.8mm. I had the gestational sac, yolk sac, and fetus pole but no heart beat. My husband and I had an idea I would be 6 weeks due to the timeline we conceived but my DR expressed a lot of concern when my hgc levels were 37000. I am getting my blood drawn again on Monday to check. He did warn me about next steps if things don’t progress.

I’m feeling really defeated and hopeless and lonely. Has this been similar for anyone else?
