I know it's 2026 and The Murder of Sonic The Hedgehog came out in 2023, BUT OMG I just played it.. THE MIRAGE EXPRESS!!!! I AM SO SAD MAN :(
ok so if y'all don't know, basically: the conductor promises to be friends with it forever, but eventually retires. The train is afraid of losing his only friend, so eggman deals him if he brings back Sonic and co, he will have the conductor be with him forever, (fuck eggman for that) the trin accepts and is now secret evil yandere. but gets killed in the end.

like, I know it's a freaking train, but I wanna give it therapy! HOW DO YOU GIVE THERAPY TO SOMETHING DEAD!?!?!?!?! can't forget the poor locomotive literally goes:
"EXCUSES! How dare you abandon me... I'll be so lonely... so lonely... WHY MUST you insist LONELINESS UPON ME?"
