Withdraw after job separation
I’m currently employed in a job that will be ending Monday.
My job has a retirement plan contributed 100% by my (soon to be former) employer.
I wanted to see when I could withdraw the money. I spoke to a rep in the phone, but he didn’t make any sense.
At one point he said I can withdraw when Fidelity is notified by my employer that my employment has ended. He also told me in the same conversation that I can get as soon as I receive my final paycheck (which I have, due to having early pay through my bank).
This doesn’t make sense. What is the correct answer?
