My band left me at a football game after a "shooting"

Story

My school had its first football game today, and it was an away game with our rival school (Keep that in mind.)

The game was going good at first. We performed at halftime, and everything was steady until after we performed. So I'm in front ensemble, so our director told us to set our instruments up on the side of their track so that we could have the full 3rd quarter to have free time and get concessions.

So we get back to the stands to grab our money and whatever we need, and as we got out of the stands and started walking towards the concessions, all I hear is screaming, and I see atleast 30 kids running directly toward us.

My feet literally started moving before I could even process what was happening. I literally did a full 180° and started jetting to one of the exits, and I saw everyone in my band also running. People were screaming about a gun so I ran under the bleacher and started running under there.

I finally got out and immediately called my mom because last time I saw her she was in the stadium. We talked and she was still in the stadium and I kept telling her to get out.

Anyway, after I get off the phone with her, I spot one of my drum majors, 2 parent volunteers, their daughter who is also my bandmate, and also one of my band staff. They told me to stay with them, and my mom called again so I was talking to her and not paying attention, but when I look back up the staff member and drum major are gone. I just thought they just went to look for everybody else.

Suddenly people start screaming and running again. This time I just duck behind one of the police cars and I'm just sitting there, then the group of people ran into the distance. It was still a bunch of chaos going on so the parents and my bandmate said we should get farther away from the school and chaos.

We start walking down the street and at this point I'm on the phone with my mom once again, and she tells me that the people started running for a THIRD time, but this time, the football players were legit running off the field in the middle of the game along with the cheerleaders. The game literally stopped because everyone was running away. People were jumping off of the stands from high up and everything.

I was walking with the parents and the student and my mom told me to tell her where I was at, and she eventually found me and picked me up.

In the midst of me in the car with my mom, my band director posts in the band app about the incident and he says all students are accounted for. I was in my mom's car, so how was everyone accounted for? He then said they were loading and going to depart soon.

Now, idk about any other bands, but our band does roll call attendance on each bus everytime we are about to leave somewhere, or go somewhere. This is my 4th year and band and they have NEVER skipped a roll call. We've had a similar situation with a "gun" before, and they still took attendance, so I know that they weren't just trying to hurry and leave the school because of the incident.

Halfway home, my band director posts that they have literally LEFT THE SCHOOL and he posts the dismissal time. Atp my mom got super mad. I didn't have not ONE text or call from anyone in my section or band at all. Literally NOTHING. My bag was still in the stands and everything.

So when we got home, my mom texted our director and asked him had the staff member that I was originally with in the group talked to him about not seeing me anymore. He then was surprised in the message and said he had not heard anything about me, then he asked was everything okay. Because at this point we were going over the possibility that the staff member told him that I was with her in the group at first, so he thats why he said all students were accounted for, but his response told us all we needed to know.

He then gave a half assed apology and my mom drove to the school because they were still there. They lied to her multiple times about the parents of my bandmate telling them that I got picked up, but then why did you say you didn't hear anything about me when my mom texted you. And also, why wouldn't you confirm? These are random parents, not staff members, so you need to confirm or atleast call my parent to actually be able to confidently say that all students were accounted for.

This incident really showed me how much my bandmates and staff actually care about me personally. I know for a fact they took attendance on my bus, and actually the staff member who I was with is the one who takes attendance on my bus, so I'm even more surprised! So my question is, did yall just take attendance, find out yall were missing a kid, and decide to ignore it? If something bad had actually happened to me and I didn't talk to my mom, nobody would've noticed anything (even though I know that they knew i was missing)
