Dinner- Cheshu ramen
I work in educational place where we found a dangerous chemical which could potentially ‘explode’ and it has been sitting there in the cupboard corner left by the person who work before me many years ago before my time but noone seems to aware to dispose of it until I start the role and found it. And after identified it doesn’t look appropriate to handle this with my experience as usual. This needs a professional help from external including emergency services. The best solution is to detonation them onsite while everyone is evacuated to the safe place. (If we going down this road there will be school closing or stop/postpone all the events for this or even put school into spotlight as the press could step in) I raise this up to the college (aka my boss) who share 50% of my role in the contract and has all the right to know and make a decision together before we go to senior management. The person didn’t cope well and crash out immediately about the school closing and evacuation all the kids out. The person then left school for the entire day due to unable to function and communicate before the problem finalised. Now everyone wants me to go for a compromise way in a way we don’t have to level up to contact the emergency services and make people less panick as much as possible because it has already made someone melt down and have panick attack enough to leave work. I reassessed the crisis and contact with waste company if they can step in for a collection of this dangerous goods which we are currently waiting for their opinion. I was trying my best to do my job but still I also feel bad to make someone in tears and left work before mid day. I was sure I was calm and communicate quite well and doesn’t act panick about the issues but I think everyone has different way to cope with crisis. Just want to be here to vent about my work. I know it is my job but still feel unseen and no one seems to care about my health & safety more than their work and school reputation. I start to think about leaving the job after I finish managing this crisis and finally leave put school back in safety place. Because just only one critical thing I couldn’t seem to consult/talk with my boss about the situation I have. Bow it pushing me back to make a decision to seems convenient for everyone.

I’m tired of this and I am thinking to leave
