How do you guys find safe spaces to meet other queer people?

I’m new to everything and I want to meet people, I just don’t know how to find out where people hang. I’m not out yet at all, I’m still trying to figure myself out right now, and my town’s only“gay bar” is usually crawling with cis straight people, some of whom I know and would not be nice if they saw me dressed up. The whole town loves that bar because the frat boys don’t go there. So yeah :/ I really want to meet people, like so bad, and I want to do it looking the way I want to look. I just don’t want to run into any old bosses or ex friends while I’m exploring…

so…, where are you guys?
