how the hell do u talk to strangers

Im being so honest im one of the most awkward people alive. I can have a conversation with somone but I need them to start the conversation.

there's this really cute and smart guy in my chem class but idk him at all. There isn't any assigned seats in the class but there is assigned seats yk. No one has changed seats since the first day so movie spots would just seem weird. I know im being dramatic but I would just feel bad for taking somones seat. It would also be embarrassing if he doesnt even sit at his usual table that day 😭. He doesn't talk to anyone in the class and it would honestly be a great idea to have a friend in my chem class.

Somthing also feeding into my delusions is when we had like a 20 minute break and I went to the bathroom and I could FEEL somone following me. And I kinda turned a bit and saw it was him. Idk if he was following me to see if I knew where the batbrooms were but it was funny to see him turn around when I walked into the girls bathroom. this just fed my delusion that he knows I exist ✌️✌️.

Can you guys give me help on how to talk to him. Ik you guys will probably say "just say hi and ask for his number." IM SO SHY. I will probably freeze up and make a fool of myself. Genuinely I suck at just going up to people MAINLY GUYS.
