Housing won't do anything about roommate with w**d

Dorm

Uni/college soph here. First week with roommate and she already stunk up the room with a w**d joint that "isn't allowed on campus." She didn't technically smoke it in the room, but brought it back half-smoked after a party and forgot about it until the next day (she's not sleeping in the dorm but at a hotel with her bf) at which point she threw it out somewhere. She profusely apologized about the smell but only about it LASTING TOO LONG, not that she brought the smell in.

Besides the fact that idk where she got the w**d and that it might have other dangerous things in it, it's the fact that its clearly against school policy that pisses me off. If she's caught, then I'LL be implicated, and i seriously can't afford that bc i'm on a full ride scholarship from the school. The smell is so strong that it's been a full day and u can still notice it when u open our door.

I've also seen her (under 21) with vodka and thc gummies in her possession, but apparently my housing office can't do anything about it?? No room reassignment, no nothing. There's also a rooming freeze for another week and apparently the fact that she didn't smoke IN the room means that they (housing) can't do anything about it or involve the police.

I just came back from taking a semester off because of severe depression and anxiety. I always put on a mask and hood when i leave my dorm because I'm so freaking scared of meeting people and can barely pull up to class. How am i supposed to confront her and say that I'm pissed about her bringing w**d/alcohol into the dorm bc she might get caught and drag me down w/ her??

My only possible solution rn is trying to meet with a therapist that can help fight for housing accommodations, but that in itself will take 2+ weeks and i don't want smth like this happening again. I'm super disappointed in my "prestigious" school that won't do shit about stuff like this. Even tho w**d is mostly illegal in north carolina, there's no way for me to verify that any of her stuff goes over the legal limit of 0.3%.

please please please help me guys what do i do
